I have been going to Kalender for coffee breaks and lunch for many years. It is terrific with a lovely community atmosphere inside and out. The couple who run it are really friendly and the food is very tasty. Their Apple Strudel is the best ever!!

Great local cafe with home made cakes and great fresh cooked breakfasts. Thankfully not part of any sort of chain. Friendly staff and dog friendly too.

Excellent pit stop to liven up your walk in Hampstead Heath. Unpretentious, friendly and great value. The best thing about it is the people who work there: always kind, funny and mischievous. Always a pleasure to drop by.

We had a nice drink here & cake with our kids - the staff accommodated us on two tables (COVID rules). Drinks were nice and cake was tasty - overall would recommend. Good place to refuel before or after adventures on Hampstead Heath
